It really does pay to be beautiful.  New research from economists at the University of Texas at Austin finds pretty people report being more than ten percent happier than unattractive people.  Researchers credit added wealth for most of the additional happiness.  They say good-looking people generally make more money and marry higher-earning spouses.  The findings were based on studies of more than 25-thousand people in the U.S., Canada, Germany and Britain.  While they held true for both genders, beauty played a bigger role in the happiness of women.
