The Ionia Free Fair is this Thursday and will continue through Saturday, July 28th!  The Fair has been a tradition here in Michigan since 1857 and has been ranked as one of the Top 50 Fairs in the nation.

Over the years lots of big names have graced the Ionia Free Fair stage.  Some of the old timers include  Gabby Hayes, Les Paul, Buster Keaton, Sonny and Cher, and world renowned country artists Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw and Willie Nelson.

If you've never visited the the Ionia Free Fair is also pretty well known for its free entertainment.  See  daily circus performances, high trapeze acts, and the E! Park Stage with musical talent, dance troupes, a pageant and more.

This year's entertainment includes lots of rides, lots of games, the Globe Of Death, Ionia Idol, an opening day parade, lawn party, antique tractor pulls, monster trucks, bull riding, off road demo derby,  a ladies day, and Thompson Square, the husband and wife duo who recently won the Best Vocal Duo award from the Academy of Country Music earlier this year, and already have 4 big country hits under their belt, will be performing at the Grandstand.

10 Days of family fun and games at the Ionia Free Fair, 45 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and only 30 minutes from Forest Hills.
