Ice Cream Eating Competition In Walker On Saturday

The Walker Festival runs all day this Saturday.  Kids will love having a chance to decorate their bikes and take part in the bike parade in the morning.  Then there are multiple events the rest of the day including (a possibly brain freeze inducing) ice cream eating contest.

To some people, an ice cream eating contest sounds like fun.  To me, an ice cream eating contest sounds like an invitation for pain via the sure-to-come brain freeze.  Either way, Walker Festival will be hosting an ice cream eating contest this Saturday.

They expect some serious competitors.  Possible disqualifications include starting too early, placing ice cream in a competitors dish, and my favorite "contestants who suffer a reversal of fortune and/or urges contrary to swallowing" will be disqualified.  Never has such an unpleasant activity been described in such a pleasant way.
