Hudsonville Safety Night is August 30

Hudsonville will host a night of free safety demonstrations and activities on Tuesday, August 30.

The City of Hudsonville's Fire Department and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department are hosting 2016 Safety Night on Tuesday, August 30th from 4PM to 7PM at Hughes Park.

The event is free and includes complimentary dinner and ice cream from sponsors Vredevoogd Brummel Insurance, Total Focus Driving School, and Action Restoration.

Activities and demonstrations include:

• Aero Med fly in
• Fire trucks
• Patrol vehicles
• Emergency operation centers
• Central dispatch
• Marine patrol boat and their drive team
• Smoke trailer
• Tech rescue
• Mounted division
• Ambulance
• Spray the fire hose
• Ride a sheriff’s horse
• Try the driving simulator and seat belt sled
• Meet the mascot Cricket or ticket
