The Detroit Tigers open regular season play at Minnesota today.

After last year's loss to San Francisco in the World Series, anything short of a World Series championship will be a disappointment.

How will the Detroit Tigers finish the 2013 season?

Justin Verlander just signed a huge contract extension and some other pieces fell into place for the Detroit Tigers during the off-season.  Will it be enough?

One of the biggest concerns for the Tigers is the bullpen.  Who will close games for them?   How will it effect their season?

Hopefully an effective closer will emerge for the Tigers during the first half of the season, if not, the Tigers could be active on the trade market this summer.

I think winning the division is a safe bet.  Winning the World Series will be tougher, but I'm counting on it.  This is the Tigers' year!!!
