How Many Times Have You Lost Or Broken Your Wedding Ring? [Poll]

It’s going to be a very exciting weekend with the Grand Rapids Bridal Show at DeVos Place!

But a few of us have been through this before and have the wedding ring to prove it.

How many times have you lost or broken your wedding ring?

The bridal show at Devos Place is Friday 5:00pm – 9:00pm and Saturday 11:00am – 5:00pm.

If you are newly engaged, it’s a can’t-miss event.  It’s a great place to plan ahead, save time, save money, and eliminate the stress that comes with planning for a wedding.

Of course, there might be a little bit of stress that comes AFTER your wedding day.  A lost or broken ring can do that.

I’ve been married 11 years and broken my ring twice.  Not a good ratio.

My ring has a couple of bands attached to it.  Each one has broken once.  You can get a better idea by looking at the pictures.

The first one broke after only a few months.  The second one broke just a couple of weeks ago.

My 4-year-old thinks he broke it when we played catch with a football because he threw too hard.

He does have a good arm AND a Matthew Stafford jersey, so who knows.  (College recruiters are you listening?)

I had my ring off for about a week after it broke.  I came down with a cold/flu right after it broke and I took it off. Then I got better right around the time I got my ring fixed and put it back on.

A strange coincidence?  Or did my precious have something to do with it?  Me thinks my jeweler repaired my ring in the firey pits of Mordor.
