Known for it's gorgeous beaches along Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa and the Tulip Time Festival, Holland is now being recognized for another reason!

Out of 1,268 small cities across America, Holland has been named the best in which to start a small business by Wallethub, Wood TV 8 reports.

The personal finance website compared the cities across three key areas: Business environment, access to resources, and business costs.

Wallethub looked at 15 different metrics, like average length of work week, number of startups per 100,000 residents, prevalence of investors, and cost of living.

As far as other Michigan towns to make the top 100, Southfield was ranked 32nd, Kentwood came in at No. 51, Eastpointe came in No. 65, and Portage was ranked 82nd.

A Michigan city did have the shortest average work week: Wallethub found East Lansing's work week to be 28 hours.
