The golf season is almost upon us.  Actually, with all of the warm weather we had at the end of winter and beginning of spring, one would have thought it was already here.

With the golf season comes golf outings.  Outings designed to raise money for charities and worthy causes.  And, there probably is non more popular than the "Positively Warren Golf Classic.  It has been held for many years and continues to draw hundreds of golfers from around the area to support the Warren Reynolds Cancer Library at the Lack's Cancer Center, and the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame.

This year the outing has re-focused it's efforts to support the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation, along with the Sports Hall of Fame.

A kick-off, preview party, "Step Up To The Plate," is set for Thursday, April 19th at fifth Third Ballpark Pepsi Stadium Club.  For your donation of only $50 per person, you'll enjoy a Whitecaps game with food, beverages and prizes.  Lots of TV and Radio personalities will be there, yes, I'll be there, along with Paqui Kelly, a 2-time cancer survivor, as featured guest.  Paqui, wife of former GVSU Football coach Brian Kelly, now head football coach at Notre Dame, chairs their Kelly Cares Foundation.

This will be a fun time to bring your business associates, family and friends to an evening dedicated to help children with cancer.
