Hello West Michigan Online Career Fair is Wednesday

On December 16, Hello West Michigan will host an online career fair. The virtual event is aimed at former Michigan residents living outside of West Michigan.

This is Hello West Michigan's second online career fair this year. The first was held in September and hosted 669 attendees.

“We had an overwhelmingly positive response to our first fair in September,” said Cindy Brown, Executive Director of Hello West Michigan. “The virtual event makes it easy for candidates and companies learn about each other without much investment like travel or time away from current job.”

There are 10 participating employers including Spectrum Health, Amway, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Farmers Insurance, Haworth, Herman Miller, Kellogg’s, Macatawa Bank, and Meijer.

Companies are hiring for a wide range of fields including healthcare, IT, supply chain, finance, marketing, HR, and banking, with a high demand for candidates with experience in manufacturing and skilled trades.

The event is free to attend, only requiring interested attendees to pre-register. The fair is open to local candidates as well as people living outside of West Michigan.

The career fair will take place from Noon - 4PM on Wednesday, December 16.
