Get the hankies out because you're going to need them.

I found this story about Sheriff's deputy Sam Brownlee, who was killed in the line of duty while working as a deputy in Colorado’s Weld County in 2010. His son, Tanner, was 15 at the time. The Weld County Sheriff’s Office decided to auction off Sam’s retired squad car to raise money for C.O.P.S, Concerns of Police Survivors. Tanner wanted to buy that car, so tried to raise enough money to have the top bid at the auction. But, it didn't work out quite the way he had hoped. Take a look.

That was rancher named Steve Wells, who gave Tanner the car.

What's Tanner going to do now. No, not go to Disney World. He says he will  pay it forward and donate the money he raised to C.O.P.S.
