Hawaii Kings Tour: Hawai’i Farewell

Monday was time for some final moments in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, on our Hawaiian adventure.

About three dozen listeners of 100.5 The River and myself wrapped up the last day of a 13-day group trek in the Hawaiian Islands on the Hawaii Kings Tour with YMT Vacations.

The highlights from our final day in the tropical paradise that is Hawai'i, The Big Island:

• A stroll along the beach and Kamakahonu Bay.
• The farewell feast at Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kong Beach Hotel.
• Flying back to reality from Kona International Airport en route to Honolulu and eventually back to Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids.

It has been a wonderful experience, but, as always, there's no place like home!
