Hawaii Kings Tour: A Wonderful Day

Saturday was a wonderful day as we get close to wrapping up our two-week Hawaiian adventure with 100.5 The River listeners on Hawai'i, The Big Island.

About three dozen of us are in the 11th day of a 13-day group trek in the Hawaiian Islands on the Hawaii Kings Tour with YMT Vacations.

We are spending three days in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and are staying at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel resort.

The highlights from Saturday:

• Playing a round with Bob Czerew, Gary Crum and Skip Tomkins at Malakei Golf Club, which is located in the hills among Kona coffee farms. The peacocks loved us.
• A sunset dinner cruise that included seeing some dolphins. OK, also maybe a little hula, too.
