Fireworks are getting a lot of attention in West Michigan this year.  Michigan's new fireworks law makes large/consumer fireworks legal.

The new fireworks law has led to some communities passing news laws to limit the days and times that fireworks may be set off.

Has Michigan's availability of bigger fireworks changed your fireworks purchasing habits?

My family has always purchased a small bag of fireworks and sparklers to celebrate the 4th of July in the past.  We have 3 kids 5-years-old and under.  The big ones have been a little too loud for our youngest.  Add that to the fact that our neighborhood has been "enjoying" large fireworks (legal or not) set off by neighbors from May to August for years, and there is really no reason for us to purchase any big fireworks.
