Harry Potter’s Next Big Adventure Announced Thursday

What’s  next for Harry Potter?  Author J.K. Rowling will let us know Thursday at 7am (EST).    Rowling’s publicist made it clear it won’t be an eighth book in the popular series that sold 400 million copies of the boy wizard and his friends.

A link on a new website  pottermore.com says the “owls are gathering…find out why soon!”  Speculation may involve a social networking fan site or the possible release of the Novel series as E-books.

The announcement comes just a few weeks ahead of the theatrical release on July 15 of the eighth and final Harry Potter film which will be shown in 3D. The seven movies released so far have grossed $6.4 billion in ticket sales.
