Grand Rapids Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning near the intersection of College Avenue and Griggs Street SE.

Fox 17 reports that GRPD were called to a hospital around 9 a.m. after a 23-year-old man arrived with a gunshot wound.
According to the man, he had been sitting on a porch at a home near the intersection around 6:45 a.m. when he heard gunshots.

He says he ran from the scene and later discovered he had been shot.

Police do not have any suspects nor know the exact location of the shooting at this time.
