Grand Valley State University Women’s Softball Season Ends In National Championship Semifinals

The Grand Valley State University Women’s Softball Team’s historic season came to an end on Sunday, with a 7-2 loss in the Division II National Semifinals.

This year’s trip to the Division II World Series was the second ever for GVSU and the 11th NCAA tournament appearance.

GVSU lost to Kutztown, 7-2.

Kutztown’s victory over GVSU was their 14th straight. Kutztown lost to Central Oklahoma in the national championship on Monday, 5-2.

GVSU finishes the season with a record of 46-9.
