This weekend, today and Sunday, August 18 - 19, the Grand Rapids Maker Faire is back and better than ever at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. In fact, it's SOOO much bigger and better, that Front street will be closed this weekend at the museum.

The 5th Annual Grand Rapids Maker Faire (fair) is featuring the most diverse makers yet! See and interact with underwater robotics, soldering, sublimation printing, wood carving, virtual reality and so much more!

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, and projects.

I like to call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
