Grand Rapids Job Outlook Is Strong For Summer
As summer arrives the weather isn't the only thing looking good in Grand Rapids.
The Grand Rapids-area job outlook for Quarter 3, 2013 is among the strongest in the nation.
Manpower surveys employers of major metropolitan areas throughout the year. Their latest survey reveals that the expected rate of hire by Grand Rapids-area employers from July - September in 2013 is the third highest in the nation.
The report indicates that 28% of Grand Rapids-area employers plan to hire more employees in the third quarter. 4% expect to reduce staff. 65% expect to maintain their current level. 3% are uncertain.
The third quarter was also strong for Grand Rapids in 2011 when we ranked at the top area for job outlook in the country.
