Grand Rapids Honors A West Michigan Police Officer Killed In The Line Of Duty

Officer Eric Zapata's family addressed the community today.  The realization that these guys and girls put their lives on the line every single day is incomprehensible to me.  I know, I would not be willing to do this for any amount of money.  Thank God there are men and women in uniform who are willing to rush toward danger instead of away from it.

In the WOOD TV 8 news conference his family shared how much Eric Zapata enjoyed being an officer and serving the community.  His children wanted everyone to know he was loved and will be missed alot.  The family asks for your continued prayers in this time of sorrow and healing.
