When you think about food pantries and soup kitchens you may not necessarily think about low income students.  Well, other people don't either, and that is why GRCC is opening up a food pantry for GRCC students.  We have interns that have worked here at the radio station over the years and remember them talking about their breakfast, lunch, and dinners consisting of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, ramen noodles and macaroni and cheese.  I'm not sure how a college brain can operate on all cylinders with that kind of diet.  The need was a great and it was overlooked until now.  Any of the close to  32,000 GRCC students can apply to receive food. They just need to fill out a form in the Student Life office or online.
