Next Saturday, May 7, 2016, Grand Rapids Civic Theatre Traveling Troupe hit the road to team up with the Greenville Area Community Center Stage as they partner for a free community children’s show performance of Awesome Allie, First Kid Astronaut.

Traveling Troupe is a community outreach program of the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre School of Theatre Arts. The length of the performance is much shorter than a main-stage production making it a perfect introduction for young audience members and their families.

They will be in Greenville, at the Greenville Area Community Center Stage 900 E. Kent Road, Greenville, MI 48838, next Saturday, May 7, 2016 with a 1:30 curtain.

The cool thing is, tickets are FREE, with a limit of 5 per person, and can be reserved at 616-754-9163

The play, Awesome Allie: First Kid Astronaut, will take children on an out of this world experience. Their imaginations will orbit as they meet the President of the United States, a talking dog, a Martian Land Rover, and even an Alien as they make their way into outer space and learn a little more about the planets along the way. Get ready for magic as beds turn into rocket ships, stars glow, and underwear dances!
