Grand Rapids splash pads opened for summer a couple of weeks ago.  Now, we have more options to cool down in Grand Rapids.  Today, three Grand Rapids city pools have opened for summer.

Grand Rapids residents can swim for cheap.  Babies under 1 are free, 1-17 is $1, and 18 and up is $2.  Non-residents pay $4 for 1 and up.

WZZM tells us where and when to go swimming:

The pools at Briggs Park, Martin Luther King, Jr. Park and Richmond Park open at 12:30 pm. They will be open through August 17, although they are closed July 4.

The different pools hold open swim during the following hours:

Briggs Pool - Lafayette & Knapp NE
Mon-Wed: 12:30-5:00pm
Th-Sat: 12:30-7:00pm

Martin Luther King Pool - Fuller & Franklin SE
Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat: 12:30-7:00pm
Tu & Th: 12:30-5:00pm

Richmond Pool - Richmond & Tamarack NW
Mon: 12:30-5:00pm
Tu-Sat: 12:30-7:00pm
