Big CONGRATULATIONS to Grand Rapids City High Middle school.  City High Middle has been ranked the 21st most challenging high school in the Midwest by The Washington Post. It is ranked the 4th most challenging in the state and is among the top 2% of high schools in the country.

The rankings are determined by an index score. According to The Washington Post, “The index score is the number of college-level tests given at a school in the previous calendar year divided by the number of graduates that year.” The college-level tests used in the ranking are Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE).

City High Middle School was the first school in the area to offer the coveted International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programme and has consistently been ranked among the top high schools in America.
