Have you been to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum?  Have you taken your kids...your grandkids?  Fun isn't it.  Tiring, for us big kids, but the little ones...what a blast they have.  It's always hard to pull them away when you're leaving.

Well, it's going to harder to pull them away now as the museum has opened a new exhibit that gives kids a journey through the "Adventure Jungle," and helps them work on key development skills.

Our news partner, WZZM TV13 reports the exhibit is called "Adventures in Balance," and it features a rock wall and balancing stations set on a pretend river and lava pit.

"It's an environment that allows children to fully immerse themselves in their imagination," said Director of Program Operations Jake Woller.

The designers of this exhibit say this is for all ages and great for improving gross motor skills, which can help improve balance, coordination, body awareness and even self-confidence.

The exhibit will be open until June. Click HERE to visit the museum website, and get the details to plan your next visit!
