Grand Rapids ‘Blue Bridge’ Lighting Ceremony Is October 18

Last winter it was announced that the Blue Bridge in Grand Rapids would get some new paint.

The color of the new paint was up for debate.

It was decided to keep it blue, but to allow for different colors at night through special lighting.

That special lighting will debut on Friday.

The Blue Bridge lights will debut at 9:30pm on Friday, October 18, rain or shine.

The lighting will take place after the movie "Goonies" plays at Grand Rapids Movies In The Park.

Movie night activities start at 7:00pm.  "Goonies" starts at dusk.
