The Rezervoir on Plainfield Ave. plans to reopen today after having it's liquor license suspended temporarily by the Michigan Liquor Control Commision.

Fox 17 reports that that the MLCC says The Rezervoir, formerly known as Sazerac Lounge, hosted an illegal euchre tournament in February 2015. 

The MLCC alleges the $5 tournament was unlawful gambling.

In a posted notice on the building, The Rezervoir claims a misunderstanding occurred a few weeks when no one representing the bar showed up at a hearing. They say they missed the court date because they were under the impression their attorneys had resolved the situation.

The MLCC also alleges that The Rezervoir failed to keep their liquor license properly seen, and did notify the MLCC about possible ownership changes.
