Grand Rapids Band the Crane Wives Release Second Christmas Album

Grand Rapids indie-folk band the Cranes Wives have a special holiday treat for fans. On December 1, the Crane Wives released a free Christmas album titled A Very Very Crane Wives Christmas.

The release is the second installment of their holiday series. The Crane Wives released A Very Crane Wives Christmas on November 28, 2014.

Both albums may be purchased as digital downloads. Fans can name their own price for the albums.

This year's release includes five songs highlighted by their cover of "Silver Bells." 2014's holiday album has a total of six songs led by their amazing cover of "White Winter Hymnal" by the Fleet Foxes.

The Crane Wives' popularity goes far beyond West Michigan, but fans will have many opportunities to see them this month as their current tour includes nine stops in Michigan, including a New Year's Eve show at Wealthy Theatre.
