The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is making traveling easier by adding another non-stop flight.

Starting November 15th, people will be able to fly directly [through Frontier Airlines] to Tampa from Grand Rapids on Tuesday, Thursday, & Sunday. The flights to Phoenix-Sky Harbor International Airport will begin on the 16th and offered on Monday's and Friday's. However, you can book your flight to these new destinations now.

These two additions make it the third new direct flight out of GRR for 2018. Last month, the airport announced they will be adding nonstop flights to Miami beginning in December through American Airlines.

All three will be seasonal (November - April).

By the time these go into effect, the Ford Airport will have 26 nonstop flights.

The President & CEO of Ford Airport said in the press release that these services will not only be great for those wanting to escape during the winter

...but it shows that our partners at Frontier are listening to our community and watching their travel patterns.
