Earlier today Governor Rick Snyder was hospitalized for a blood clot in his leg. His mobility is limited, but he is reported to be in good health.

The hospitalization comes about a month after having surgery on his leg for a torn Achilles. 

The hospitalization was announced on the governor's Facebook page:

Earlier today, Governor Snyder was admitted into St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor for treatment for a blood clot in his leg, part of the lingering effects of his Achilles injury. He is in good health and under doctor’s care. The governor’s mobility may be limited, but he is still very much hard at work reinventing Michigan. The governor appreciates your concerns and thoughts for a speedy recovery.
