Good News for TV Soap Fans

Are you a TV Soap fan?  You know, Soap Operas.  They really have become an endangered species since many have been cancelled on all networks.

Well, good news for General Hospital fans.  You can breathe a sigh of relief - ABC is keeping its last remaining soap opera.

USA Today says that ABC is keeping General Hospital on the air.  The shows future was in doubt when ABC scheduled Katie Couric's new syndicated talk show for 3:00pm, starting on September 10th.  That left many wondering where General Hospital would go?  Maybe the big hospital in the sky?  Nope, just a new time slot.

ABC did announce one cancellation, however.  The Revolution, which replaced the soap One Life to Live, has been cancelled and will end on July 9.

A time slot for General Hospital has not yet been determined, but, now you can breathe easier.  General Hospital is alive!
