When 90-year-old Norma found out she had uterine cancer, she didn’t take it lying down. Instead, the spunky Michigan resident declined treatment and told the doctor, "I'm 90-years-old. I'm hitting the road." 

Norma packed into an RV with her family and has taken off to see the country – drinking beer, eating cake and pie, and taking in all the sights along the way. She is documenting the trip on a Facebook page called Driving Miss Norma.

So far, Norma has visited the Grand Canyon, taken a balloon ride in central Florida and sampled the best craft beers in several cities along the way.

The best part of this story is her doctor's reaction to her plans, which was two simple words, 'Right on!'

All I can say is, GO NORMA!!!
