Sietsema's Orchard, Cider Mill and Market, formerly on the Beltline and Knapp, have moved!  They are now in Ada on 2 Mile Road.  In talking with Andy Sietsema, 4th generation farmer, I could see that his vision is much broader than just farming the land.  He wants to educate you, the buyer, on how your food is grown and exactly why buying local is so much better.

Andy Sietsema has 88 different kinds of apples that he grows on his family farm.  Some of those apples are heirloom and have a history as rich as they are!

I also enjoyed Andy's example that he used with me, he said, "Apples are alot like wine, you get a variety of different tastes, on the front and the back of your palette."

And boy he wasn't kidding either!  When he said the Thomas Jefferson apple would give my favorite "the honey crisp" a run for it's money, he was right!

Stop out this Saturday for a visit with Andy and his family.  If you show up between 3pm and 7pm Saturday 20% of the money will go directly to Gilda's Club.  Great cause and a good time!  Click on the green arrow below to hear everything Sietsema's is doing!
