Get $10 At Outback Steakhouse By Donating Blood In Grand Rapids On January 2

After losing 33-28 in the final seconds of the Outback Bowl on New Year's Day, Outback Steakhouse may bring up bad memories for University of Michigan football fans.

That's about to change.

Attempt to give blood through Michigan Blood in Grand Rapids on January 2 or 3 and receive a free $10 gift card to Outback Steakhouse.

The 3-day event, it also ran on December 31, is part of Michigan Blood's "Save a Mate. Donate." campaign.

The holidays mean fewer blood drives, now is the time to make up for it and replenish supplies.

The blood drive runs 8:00am - 7:00pm on January 2 and 3.

Miblood.org explains who can donate and how to set an appointment:

Any healthy person 17 or older (or 16 with parental consent) who weighs at least 110 pounds may be eligible to give blood every 56 days. Blood donors should bring photo ID (or two forms of non-photo ID).Appointments are preferred and can be made online at www.miblood.org or by calling 1-866-MIBLOOD.
