Crash's Landing has helped hundreds of cats find loving homes.

Each cat has a unique personality and unique needs.

Gertie is no different.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is "Purrrfect Friday," where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home. This week, we're spotlighting Gertie.

Gertie was born in April of 2004.

One look at her and you can see that she draws attention.

And it's attention that she wants.

Gertie loves to be the center of attention. She likes to sleep on the bed and she'll tap your leg and talk to you when she wants your attention.

She likes attention so much, that it's best for her to go to a quiet, single cat home where she can get that attention.

Can you adopt Gertie?
