Garth Brooks Sets Ticket Sales Record Here in Grand Rapids

This past Friday, it was a Garth Brooks frenzy. Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m., and craziness began!

As of Friday at 12 noon, Garth Brooks had broken his Michigan regional record in 24 minutes. He last played in East Lansing, MI on April 9-10, 1996, at MSU-Breslin Center, I was there, and sold 28,393 tickets. By late Friday afternoon he had sold over 51,000 tickets for Van Andel Arena here in Grand Rapids and tickets are still selling!

The concerts will be:
Thursday, May 12th 7:30PM
Friday, May 13th 10:30PM
Friday, May 13th 7:00 PM
Saturday, May 14th 10:30PM
Saturday, May 14th 7:00 PM
Sunday, May 15th 7:30PM

There is an eight ticket limit per purchase. Tickets can only be purchased at ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks, www.ticketmaster.com, or either Ticketmaster Express 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000.

Tickets will cost $66.23 plus a $2.50 facility fee and a $6.25 service charge for a total of $74.98.

While many of the shows sold out fast, there are still tickets available.  Your best bets may be the Thursday 7:30 and Friday 10:30 shows. Good luck!
