Funeral Planned For Slain Walker Police Officer

Trevor Slot, a 41-year-old Walker Police Officer, died in the line of duty Thursday.  Being a police officer, or being the family and friends of a police officer, I'm sure all have thought about this possible ending.  Can you ever prepare for it?  Of course not.  

Trevor was a favorite T-Ball coach for the kids he cared about and gave his time to.  Can you imagine trying to explain to your son or daughter where their favorite coach is?  When family and friends reminisced about Trevor the words that kept coming to mind are fun loving, caring, and smiling.   Trevor recently moved to a day shift so that he could be home more for his family.
