The 2016 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give is offering young golfers free, two-hour clinics along with other activities throughout tournament week June 14-19.

Youth, ages 17 years and under, are invited to participate in the free, two-hour clinics that will feature activities, games and group instruction by LPGA professionals and local golf pros.

Registration for the events is required. No golf experience is necessary.

  • Meijer LPGA Junior Clinic presented by Procter & Gamble: Noon on June 14 at Egypt Valley Country Club.
  • Meijer LPGA Junior Clinic presented by Johnson & Johnson: 1PM on June 15 at Boulder Creek Country Club.
  • Meijer LPGA Kid's Center presented by Dove: 10AM to 3PM, June 15-16 and 10AM to 5PM, June 17-19 at Blythefield Country Club.

A shuttle will be available to transport all participants to Blythefield Country Club after the clinic. Once at Blythefield, youth will have access to the Meijer LPGA Kid's Center presented by Dove, a tent located between holes 10 and 17 that will feature crafts, snacks, Father's Day activities and LPGA player autograph sessions throughout the week.

"We're excited to offer the Junior Clinics and Kid's Center again this year because they give young fans a chance to learn basic skills or develop their game," Meijer Co-Chairman Doug Meijer said.
