The Grand Rapids Public Museum is celebrating National Carousel Day Tuesday with FREE Carousel rides all day!

This coming Tuesday, July 25, is the day you can take a ride on the 1928 Spillman Carousel for FREE with paid general admission. Everyone's favorite carousel was built in North Tonawanda, New York in 1928 and its one of only three of its style known to be produced. It is certainly the highlight of any childs visit to the public museum as it spins to the music of a Wurlitzer band organ.

Maranda Where You Live! will be there from 4 to 5 p.m.

National Carousel Day is sponsored by Applebee's. You can stop by the Applebee's booth on National Carousel Day in the Museum's Galleria for giveaways!
