February 5th  is National Pancake Day!  And for the 8th year, IHOP is offering everyone a free short stock of pancakes!  Why?  Well, because they know you like pancakes.  But also to help raise awareness and money for Children’s Miracle Network and other local charities.

For every short stack of pancakes served today, IHOP asks that you make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network affiliated hospitals. Donations made in the GR area will benefit Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.  For 2013, their goal is $3 million (last year, they served 4 million pancakes and raised $3M.)

IHOP locations in GR include 2071 E Beltline, 3796 Alpine Ave NW and 5039 28th Street SE.

You can find other IHOP locations here.

Some fun facts for you!

  • National Pancake Day 2012 was IHOP’s largest one-day event in the company’s 54-year history.
