According to FBI subpoenas viewed by Business Insider, former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle allegedly paid a 16-year-old girl $100 for sex.

Court documents reference alleged text messages between Fogle and a former Subway franchisee that reference to the alleged sexual activity.

Business Insider reports that the franchisee shared the texts to and from Fogle with Subway management in 2008, but her lawyer claims that the company did not act upon them.

Subway commented on these new allegations on Facebook Saturday saying:

Fogle allegedly told the teen that she should advertise herself on Craigslist for sex with other men, according to the report.

She reportedly responded to one such text saying, "Is this the same website you found that 16-year-old girl that you f***ed ... I still can't believe you only paid $100 for her.''

Fogle allegedly responded with, "It was amazing.''

Subway suspended its relationship with the spokesman in July after FBI officials and Indiana State Police searched his home.
