Former GVSU Player Dies Running The 5th/3rd River Bank Run In Grand Rapids

The 5th/3rd Riverbank Run took place on Saturday morning in the rain.  Runners from everywhere were represented.  But the run took on a somber tone when Former GVSU football player Jason Kinzler, 37, collapsed and died about a mile from the end of the Fifth Third River Bank 25k run.

Kinzler collapsed around 11 a.m. near the area of Lake Michigan Drive and Seward.
