Forbes has named Grand Rapids the second best city in the country for finding employment.

Forbes mentions Grand Rapids' unemployment rate of 3.9 percent as a leading reason for making the list. They also mentioned a diverse field of openings in industries including: automotive, consumer goods, healthcare, manufacturing and food services.

Forbes also talked to Nancy Siegal, regional vice president at Adecco Staffing. Siegal said the job market is creating competition for candidates which means more money for job seekers.

Austin, Texas was the top city on the list. Austin's 3.2 percent unemployment was a factor. Nashville ranked third.
