The West Michigan Flight Academy,  a non-profit organization dedicated to providing economically disadvantaged youth the opportunity and the tools to pursue a highly advanced technical career related to the Aviation and Aerospace industries, is throwing a big breakfast fund raiser.

Actually, you can fly-in, drive-in or walk-in...it doesn't matter.  Just be there at the Riverview Airport, 805 Taylor Street in Jenison, Saturday, June 1st.  Held from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon, the food will be great, with steak and eggs, cheese, sausage, fire roasted salsa and tortillas.  In addition, they'll have door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and more.

They will also offer family discovery flights and discovery flights for kids 8-17.

The Annual Fly-In fundraiser benefits West Michigan Flight Academy’s (WMFA) flight programs. These programs give children in West MI the opportunity to pursue careers in
Aviation and Aerospace, while improving grades in Math and Science. This event is one of the many ways for WMFA to reach as many kids and parents as possible, as well as raising funds for fuel and maintenance cost.
