Flu Season Is Over In Michigan
We've had to wait a long time to say this, but it looks like flu season is finally over in Michigan!
Statewide reports of flu-like symptoms first began to climb in mid-October. Flu levels reached their peak in January, then began a slow decline.
Finally, reports of flu-like symptoms have returned to normal levels in every region of Michigan.
Of course, the flu never completely goes away but it looks like we're going to get a break for a while.
The chart below shows the levels of the flu in Michigan and each region of the state over the past year. Most of West Michigan is part of the "central" region.
