It's been a long time since we've had good news to report about flu levels in West Michigan.  Looks like we'll have to continue waiting.

Flu season continues to drag on.  Rates of reports of flu-like symptoms actually went up statewide over the last week.

Rates remain the highest in Northern Michigan, as they have been all year.  Although Southeast Michigan is at nearly the same rate.  Southeast Michigan is also near it's overall season high rate.

Take a look at the graph below which shows the levels of reports of flu-like symptoms across various regions of Michigan and the state as a whole.  West Michigan mostly falls into the "Central" region, as defined by the Michigan Department of Community Health.
