Last week saw flu levels return to normal across Michigan in every region except for one.

The "central" region, which includes West Michigan, reported the highest rate of flu-like symptoms in the state last week.

Statewide flu levels have returned to those found from mid-November through early December.

If not for the "central" region of Michigan remaining near the levels found throughout the past couple of months, we might be able to declare the statewide flu season over.

Let's hope we're just a week away from that point.
