“Fiddler on the Roof” is returning to Grand Rapids.

The national tour of the Tony Award-winning musical “Fiddler on the Roof,” returns next week for just one show in the Van Singel Fine Arts Center.

It’s part of the 2012-13 Gainey Series at the Van Single Fine Arts Center, 8500 Burlingame SW, in Byron Center.

Based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem, “Fiddler on the Roof” has humor, warmth and honesty in a universal story that cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion.

“Fiddler on the Roof” has such a great score, too, including such songs as “Tradition,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker.” “If I Were A Rich Man” and “Sunrise, Sunset.”

Tickets for Fiddler on the Roof are $39.50 for adults and $22.50 for students (high school and younger).

You may call the Van Singel box office, 12 noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, at 616-878-6800.

Tickets are also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the Van Singel Fine Arts Center's website.  Just click HERE to link up.
