A jury in Ludington has found Sean Phillips (father of "Baby Kate") guilty of unlawful imprisonment.

According to various news sources, Phillips was calm and straight faced as the verdict was read.

The charges of unlawful imprisonment stem from the disappearance of Baby Kate, which prosecutors claim he caused. Unlawful imprisonment is a felony.

During closing arguments on Thursday, the Mason County Prosecutor, Phil Spaniola, reminded the jury what exactly unlawful imprisonment entails: to knowingly restrain a person, or interfere with a person’s liberties.

Phillips faces up to 15 years in prison.

Baby Kate still has not been found.
