Fashion Show to Raise Money for Liz’s House and Bridge Street Place

Liz's House and Bridge Street Place are two very special housing communities of Dwelling Place.

Liz's House serves homeless women with small children, and Bridge Street Place is a home to survivors of domestic violence.

With women facing enormous challenges in their personal lives, both housing communities offer solace and comfort when no one else will.

That is why it is so important to support the wonderful work of Dwelling Place, and especially Liz's House and Bridge Street Place, since a large part of their funding comes from you and me.

There's No Place Like Home: The Art of Fashion, a fashion show, will be Wednesday, April 18th from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Goei Center, 818 Butterworth SW here in Grand Rapids, to raise money in support of Liz's House and Bridge Street Place.

Media personalities and community leaders will be on the runway as they model the latest style trends for women by Leigh's and for men by Fitzgerald's.  They'll have gourmet hors d'oeuvres by Panera Bread, a bar, and complimentary valet parking.
