Expect Your Water Bill To Increase Next Year
If you live in Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Walker, Cascade Township, Grand Rapids Township and Tallmadge Township, you may see an increase in your water bill next year, according to WZZM.
It doesn’t seem to be that huge of a hike, but still… city commissioners say that after they received the results of a study they had done, they need to raise water prices 4.13% and sewer .26% to make some improvements that are needed.
I say it’s not that huge of a hike, because per quarter, you’ll only pay about $2.88 and again that’s over 3 months.
The proposed hike goes before the city comission for a vote on December 13th.
